How does renting a hot tub work?
- Once you contact us, we will explain the different types of hot tubs that we offer and the benefits of each of them to help you choose the best tub for your needs.
- We will then inform you that you will need an area of approximately 7 feet by 7 feet to accommodate our RotoSpa Hot tubs and in some cases close to an electrical outlet. If in the winter, we will ask you to shovel a clear path to the location.
- Then we will arrange a delivery time and pickup time with you and discuss payment options.
- Once we arrive with your hot tub, we will set it up in the desired location. As the tub is filling with water, we will treat the water and explain how you can maintain the chemicals during the rental period and answer any questions you may have.
- We will then go over the rental agreement and collect payment.
- When it's time for us to pick up the tub, we will simply load everything up, sanitize the hot tub and be on our way. You do NOT need to be home during the pickup.
How many people can your hot tub seat?
- Our tubs will allow anywhere from 4 to 8 adults comfortably.
What are the dimensions of the Hot tubs?
- 33" deep, and 79" in diameter.
How much space is required to set up a hot tub?
- An 7 ft by 7 ft clear area is roughly the dimensions of our hot tubs. Be sure this area is within 15 feet of an electrical outlet.
How do we fill and empty the tub?
- The tub can be filled from any water source. Most customers use their garden hose. To drain the tub, we provide you with a submersible pump. Be sure to drain the water away from your house. Please note that the chemicals from the hot tub water will not harm your lawn, garden or driveway.
How long does it take for the hot tub to heat up?
- Our RotoSpas will heat the water approximately 1 to 2 degrees F per hour. Depending on the weather conditions and the water temperature, please allow 24 - 48 hours for heating.
How much water does it take to fill the hot tub?
- Approximately 280 - 300 gallons of water for our RotoSpas
Are the hot tubs sanitized before every rental?
- Yes! We clean and sanitize the hot tub and filter before every rental.
How do I control the temperature in the hot tub?
- There are digital controls on the Hot Tub that allow you to set the desired temperature.
How hot does the water get?
- The water in a hot tub should never exceed 104°F (40°C). Water temperatures between 100°F (38°C) and 104°F (40°C) are considered safe for a healthy adult. Our tubs will reach a maximum of 104°F.
Can I have the hot tub installed anywhere?
- Almost! RotoSpas fit through standard doorways, allowing us to install them almost anywhere. However, all hot tubs must be installed on a structurally sound, relatively smooth and level surface that is strong enough to support it, when filled (must be able to hold 100 LBS/Sq Ft).
Do I need to have a shower before getting in the hot tub?
- Yes, we recommend that you do. This helps keep the water clean and means you have a better and healthier hot tub experience.
How much electricity does the hot tub use?
- Our hot tubs run off of a standard 115V electrical outlet. It will use approximately 12.4 amps of power. In English, it will draw almost the entire circuit. Please note, that plugging in any other appliance on the same circuit, may blow a breaker.
Will I notice an increase on my Hydro Bill?
